How do you charge — by the hour, day or job?
Both daily and job-based rates are usual, and which suits depends on how well defined the work is. A clearly scoped job is often better priced as a job; open-ended or investigative digging is usually better by time. We confirm the basis before the machine is booked so there are no surprises.
What size excavator will I need?
That comes from the volume of material, the depth you need to reach and what your access allows, not from a preference. We work it out at the site assessment. If a smaller and cheaper machine will do the job properly, that is what we will recommend.
Do you locate underground services before digging?

Can you break out rock or old concrete?
